The purpose that prevails.

We humans keep brainstorming options and plans, but GOD ’s purpose prevails. (‭Proverbs‬ ‭19‬:‭21‬ MSG)

What are you mulling over in your mind?

Things are not happening the way we thought so we plan in our mind……..

We don’t think things will work out so we look at our options………

We don’t trust God enough so we take matters in our hands…….

We are so full of fear and worry that we decide to do something, anything….

We can’t see our future and don’t understand all that God is doing so we get to work…….

As we have failed over and over again we have lost hope in God and have made a decision to do things on our own…..

BUT IN ALL THESE SITUATIONS THE WORD OF THE LORD IS CLEAR –

His purposes for us will prevail!!!!

We have a choice today, to follow our own path and purpose or to follow God’s purpose! But keep in mind that only one purpose will prevail, GOD’S PURPOSE!!

Our plans, ideas and purposes will fail because we are simply not capable to lead our selves. We were not meant to. Whatever you are going through know that God’s purpose for your life will prevail!! No plan originating of man will succeed. The day a man’s plan and purpose for your life is fulfilled know you are in trouble…… As I close know, His purpose for you will prevail. Throw away your plans, trust the Lord instead!

  1. What a great message to remember that though we try to take full control of our lives, only our Father’s plans are absolutely perfect for us. This reminded me of one of my anchor verses, Jeremiah 29:11, which reads: “For I know the plans that I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Such an awesome God we have who has nothing but the best for us in mind!

I love the verse from Proverbs that you shared in here. It is definitely a passage I will remember hereon always. 😀

Prior to writing this post I was trying to solve a problem, a problem that I see now was a problem God wants me to know He can solve. We think God is impressed with our plans and ideas but He is simply wants us to trust that He is in control. His purpose for us is amazing and so so good. But do we believe that would be the question?
Jeremiah 29:11 is such an amazing scripture and it ties in perfectly. I too love that scripture.
I am glad you got something from this post….haha😄
