You are not alone in your pain!!

THOUGHT OF THE DAY.

You’ve kept track of my every toss and turn

through the sleepless nights,

Each tear entered in your ledger,

each ache written in your book.      Psalm 56:8

You toss and turn in the night. Your mind is busy! Thinking about how you will pay

your bills!

You toss and turn in the night wondering how you will make it through the week!

You toss and turn in the night because you are restless, unsettled, worried, and fearful.

You toss and turn in the night, sleep has escaped you…..it has left you to try and find

and answer to the problems you face but…….

There is Someone who keeps track of your EVERY toss and turn! He not only knows

but gives you help. Sleep, rest, don’t fret, don’t worry because the thing that is keeping

you up has been taken to be solved by the One who is bigger than ANY problem you

will ever face!

God sees your every tear……every tear! He sees your tears and cries with you! There is not

a tear that goes unnoticed and

unrecorded. He knows your every ache! He sees through the mask you have donned to

hide the pain in your heart. He is not a cold hearted God who doesn’t care! On the

contrary, He cares so much that He takes the time to document your pain, your tears.

He cares about the ache in  your heart. He cares about the tears you shed! If you are in

pain run to Him! When the tears flood out look to Him! Don’t believe the lie that no

cares and no one knows! When you are going through your darkest hour remember

Jesus. His heart was in pain, He shed tears but He took it all to God in prayer! He knew

His Father cared and loved Him!

You serve a God who understands and cares for you! You are not alone in your pain.

You may feel like no one understands what you are going through but He does! This is

the God we serve, how amazing is He??!!!!

( In total awe)  Selah!

Rolain……

  1. This is so beautiful Rolain! I can’t even count how many times I’ve felt forgotten by God during dark season in my life and it was reading Psalms and posts like these that kept reminding me that it didn’t matter how I felt… God was still right there beside me, even in the darkness. He does not only hear and see us but He understands our pain because He went through it too (which is so comforting to know). There is nothing that we can go through that He hasn’t been whether it is rejection, loneliness, or abandonment. Thank you for sharing this!

    • Thank you Anna…..
He understands what we go through because He went through it too!!!! Thank you for sharing this important point. We need to remember that He went through it all so He could be the High Priest we needed! I understand people will never fully comprehend what goes on in the deepest parts of me but that doesn’t matter because Jesus who is my Life, my everything, my reason for living does. He knows and understands what goes on in the deepest recesses of our souls. He understands things we ourselves don’t understand! He understands because He went through it…..that is such an amazing truth and the reason I am in awe……I am speechless at His greatness! Thanks again for sharing that Anna!
      Have a great weekend!

  2. Hi, Rolain!
Thank you for sharing this deeply heartening message. Your post reminded me of Psalm 4:8 – “In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety.”
I will certainly meditate on your words and how you have shown that God is our ultimate and omnipotent Comforter.
    Blessings always,
    Katrina

    • Thank you Katrina….and thank for sharing Psalm4:8. It’s another deep reminder that God is always there and He is always watching over us…….He is indeed All Powerful!!!!
      Have a great weekend. 😀

  3. There has been many Storms in my life Roland some I caused myself but Jesus has been Faithful even when I was deceived and thought He was just made up. During a very violent Storm when knowing Him again as an Adult and rejoicing that He is my Best Friend but feeling devastated and lost, He gave me the Scriptures below to hold onto and I still do today.

Isaiah 43:1-3 – Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine. When you go through deep waters and great trouble, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown! When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. For I am the LORD, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Saviour.”

Jeremiah 29 :11-12 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Lamentations 3: 33 For God doth not afflict willingly nor grieve the children of men.

    • Thanks for sharing your testimony Anne.
The scripture you shared in Isaiah 43 is so powerful. Thank you for sharing it. I don’t think I have ever come across it in all my reading of the bible all these years. Maybe I did but I was not ready for it…..! I am going to take that scripture for myself as well.
Thank you for taking the time to read my post. Your contribution has been so appreciated!
