His faithfulness will not stop.

“It is true that some Jews were not faithful to God.

But will that stop God from doing what He promised? No!

God will continue to be true even when every person is false.”

We mess up, we make mistakes, we rebel and disobey at times but those things won’t stop

God from doing what He promised us. Our failures and short-comings are not the things that

will stop God from doing the miraculous in us and through us. He knows we are not perfect.

He knows He is the only one who is faithful and true and He doesn’t expect us to be perfect.

Let’s stop holding up our weaknesses as a reason for not being used. God will use us despite our

short-comings.  Nothing can stop His faithfulness towards His people. Not even sin!

I am not saying we should ignore the sin in our lives and just do what we want but I am saying

we should not think God won’t use us because we are broken and imperfect.

He will perform every good thing He promised us and that should give us joy.

He loves and cares for us in a way we can’t even begin to comprehend. Trust Him,

rely on His faithfulness!

Bless you, friends…

Run to Him always……

THOUGHT OF THE DAY
“Be glad that you are His.
Let those who ask the Lord for help be happy
Depend on the Lord and His strength.
Always go to Him for help. “
Psalm 105:3, 4 (ICB)
This is something so easy to do but do we always do it?
Do we go to the Lord for help ALL the time?
I don’t. I catch myself at times striving in my own strength, worrying, fretting, and panicking.
I forget to go to Him always.
But the word is clear, “Always go to Him for help”
Don’t hesitate, ask Him for help. Even if you made the mistake, the wrong decision, go to Him
for help. He is our strength and able to help us in every situation we going through no matter
how difficult and complex.
“Some sat in gloom and darkness.
They were prisoners suffering in chains.
They had turned against the words of God.
They had refused the advice of God Most High.
So he broke their pride by hard work.
They stumbled, and no one helped.
In their misery they cried out to the Lord.
And he saved them from their troubles.
He brought them out of their gloom and darkness.
He broke their chains.”
Psalm 107
Psalm 107 is one of my favorite chapters in the bible. It shows us how merciful YAH is and
in the midst of our weaknesses and failings He extends grace to us and helps us.
Yes, we are weak, and yes we are going to make mistakes but don’t let guilt and condemnation
stop you from asking Him for help. The enemy is behind that. He wants you to keep silent.
He doesn’t want to see you delivered, freed and helped.
ACT ON IT  – The action point is simple today: Think about areas in your life you haven’t asked YAH for help
and cry out to Him. Ask Him for help right now!
Make sure you write down the things that come to mind so you can have a record of how YAH helped
you in difficult times.
If you can’t go to Him for help because you feel guilty and condemned then meditate on the following two
scriptures (there are so many more)
1. Romans 8:1
2. Psalm 103:8-12
And that is all I have to share with you today. He is our Helper!
Bless you friends.

You first…..

“Aaron shall bring the bull for his own sin offering to make atonement for himself

and his household, and he is to slaughter the bull for his own sin offering.”

Leviticus 16:11

Before Aaron who was the high priest could atone for the Israelites he had to atone for

himself and his family first.

If he skipped that, the probability of dying in the tabernacle increased hundredfold.

He had to make sure he was okay before he could help the next person.

Why is this important?

It’s important because we need to have the same attitude if we want to help someone else.

I am not saying you must achieve perfection if you want to help someone else.

On the contrary, help where you can but make sure you are being helped.

Make sure you are being helped as you help others.

Don’t be arrogant and think you don’t need help.

You can’t do much if you are empty. Let YAH fill you continually. Let Him work on you continually.

Bring to Him your shortcomings and weaknesses daily. Cry out for His grace every chance you get.

It’s an honor for us that He chooses imperfect vessels to use. He could do everything by Himself

but He chooses to use you and me!

And that’s why you need to be first…….

Jars of clay!

I am in awe how God has

made a decision to work with broken vessels!

That’s right, He has made a conscious and deliberate decision

to work with and through us.

He knows we are not perfect, He knows we will fail, He knows

we will mess up, He knows we will rebel and yet He still uses us!

It’s amazing to think that God would choose us as flawed as we

are and work with us.

It’s because of Him we are something.

He calls the foolish things of this world to confound the wise.

That’s the way He works.

We are nothing on our own. Our lives make sense when God is

added to it. We don’t glory in our strength but in God’s.

As you go through your day today I want you to remember that God

has chosen you despite your weaknesses.

You don’t have to perfect to be used by Him.

He created you and knows everything about you.

Lean on His strength and not on yours.

Blessings to you today!

The Promise…..

“Now when all the people were baptized, and when Jesus also

had been baptized, and [while He was still] praying, the [visible]

heaven was opened

And the Holy Spirit descended upon Him in bodily form like a dove,

and a voice came from heaven saying, You are My Son, My

beloved!

In You I am well pleased and find delight!”

Luke 3:21, 22

This is a very familiar passage of scripture we can all agree. Pretty

straight forward as well but there is something else I saw that I

would like to share.

Jesus was about to start His ministry. But before He started He

had to be baptized. Something powerful happened as He got

baptized. The Holy Spirit came upon Him.

As I read this scripture I couldn’t move on. There were some

things which stood out for me.

Jesus would not be able to accomplish His mission without the

Holy Spirit. He would not be able to do all the things He did

without the Holy Spirit. He wasn’t getting baptized because it

was a “nice” thing to do.

Without the baptisim of the Holy Spirit Jesus would be powerless

and He would fail His mission.

As I was getting these insights I couldn’t help wonder if I really

understood the role of the Holy Spirit in me.

“However, I am telling you nothing but the truth when I say it is

profitable (good, expedient, advantageous) for you that I go away.

Because if I do not go away, the Comforter (Counselor, Helper,

Advocate, Intecessor, Strengthener, Standby) will not come to you

[into close fellowship with you]; but if I go away, I will send Him

to you [to be in close fellowship with you].”

John 16:7

I have not fully understood the role of the Holy Spirit in my life.

I have taken Him for granted but I see now.

I was wrong!

But it makes sense right, all the sense in the world! It makes

sense how God uses the foolish, the broken, the weak, to do

great things.

I have issues, major issues, flaws, weaknesses……..

I don’t do the right thing a lot,

I think wrong,

I get afraid at times,

I struggle speaking to strangers about Christ,

I struggle with self esteem,

I am lazy,

I am selfish…..the list goes on and on

We are broken but God knows that and He has the answer….

Let’s look at one man who had major issues, Peter.

He was afraid, he doubted Jesus a lot, and he denied the Lord

three times. He had issues like we do but….

“But Peter, standing with the eleven, raised his voice and

adressed them: You jews and all you residents of Jerusalem,

let this be [explained] to you so that you will know and

understand;

listen closely to what I have to say.”

Acts 2:14

He was bold!

“And [Peter] solemnly and earnestly witnessed (testified) and

admonished (exhorted) with much more continuous speaking and

warned (reproved, advised, encouraged) them, saying, Be saved

from this crooked (perverse, wicked, unjust) generation.

Therefore those who accepted and welcomed his message were

baptized, and there were added that day about 3000 souls.”

Acts 2:40, 41

He wasn’t afraid anymore. He spoke with power and authority,

something he didn’t have before.

“But Peter said, Silver and gold (money) I do not have; but what I

do have, that I give to you: in [the use of] the name of Jesus Christ

of Nazareth, walk!

Then he took hold of the man’s right hand with a firm grip and

raised him up. And at once his feet and ankle bones became strong

and steady, “

Acts 3:6, 7

I could give you more examples but you get the idea. There

was an amazing transformation in Peter’s life. He wasn’t perfect

but there was a change. He was spirit-filled!

He did amazing things for God because he had the Holy Spirit

living in him.

May we get a revelation of what it means to be spirit filled.

As I end I would like to share one more scripture:

“And if the Spirit of Him Who raised up Jesus from the dead

dwells in you, [then] He Who raised up Christ Jesus from the

dead will also restore to life your mortal (short-lived, perishable)

bodies through His Spirit Who dwells in you.

Romans 8:11

The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead lives in me, lives

in you. I missed it somewhere but I see now.

I want to walk in the same power Jesus did? I need Him…

Without Him there is no power, no impact, no fruit!

What about you?

Will you seek Him, cry out to Him?

We all need Him if we are going to impact this world for Christ!

God bless you friends……

When the doubts come……

“If you can do anything, do it. Have a heart and help us!”

Jesus said, “If? There are no ‘ifs’ among believers. Anything can happen.” Mark 9: 22

That is a very bold word from our Lord don’t you think? As bold as it may seem this is what I believe God is saying. The man had asked the disciples to heal his boy but they could not so when Jesus came down the mountain the man must of thought it impossible.

I have to admit and say there are things that I ask God without even thinking twice. I just know He will come through and then there are things that are harder to ask for. But from this whole passage we see this should not be so. We are to trust in God. Mark 11:22 says,

And Jesus replying, said to them, Have faith in God [constantly]. (Amplified)

When we come to God we must not come doubting. It must be in total trust. But the story continues and we see something very important.

No sooner were the words out of his mouth than the father cried, Then I believe. Help me with my doubts! Mark 9: 24

We want to believe and we do believe but doubts get in the way. What are we supposed to do? The man cried out to the Lord for help. We need help when it comes to our doubts. If you don’t struggle with doubts then bless you……But for those who struggle with it then look to God. There are no “ifs” in God’s vocabulary and there shouldn’t be in ours.

You may be in a place where you think “it’s too much, I can’t ask God for that” or “can He really give me what I have asked for” but know that there are no “ifs” when it comes to God. It’s either, ‘yes’ or ‘no’.

Nothing is too big for God. Bring your requests to Him in total faith and if you struggle with doubts then cry out to him for help. He will help. He wants to help us in our areas of weakness…..God bless

Rolain.
