We are happy when we go to Him for help!

“I asked the Lord for help, and He answered me.

He saved me from all that I feared. Those who go to Him

for help are happy. They are never disgraced.”

Psalm 34:4, 5

I needed to hear that today and thought you did too!

We need His help today and we will need His help tomorrow.

We simply have to ask for it and He will answer.

Life can be tough and unbearable at times but the Lord doesn’t want us going through it alone.

We should never get to a place where we deal with problems without Him. He cares about every

part of our lives and wants to help. He doesn’t like seeing us suffer.

He wants to bring to an end the things that are tripping us up. He wants to stop the trials

from having victory over us. He wants us to win. He wants us to be victorious.

Let me say this, the trouble you are facing today will pass because the Lord is helping you.

No matter how dim things appear they will get better. Trust in the Lord. He has got you.

He is on your side. The enemy will not win.

Ask the Lord for His help always.

Bless you, friends.

Why wait till tomorrow??!!

“Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron, and said, Entreat the Lord, that He may take away the frogs

from me and my people; and I will let the people go that they may sacrifice to the Lord.

Moses said to Pharaoh, glory over me in this; dictate when I shall pray [to the Lord] for you, your servants,

and your people, that the frogs may be destroyed from you and your houses and remain only in the river.

And [Pharaoh] said, Tomorrow. [Moses] said, Let it be as you say, that you may know that there is no one

like the Lord our God.”

Exodus 8:8-10

I am stumped! The land of Egypt was overrun by frogs (this was the second plague in a series of plagues).

When Pharaoh couldn’t get rid of them he called Moses and Aaron to pray to YAH to get rid of them.

When they came, Moses gave him an interesting proposition if you can call it that,

“dictate when I shall pray [to the Lord] for you, your servants, and your people, that the frogs may be

destroyed from you and your houses and remain only in the river.”

Instead of saying “immediately” Pharaoh told Moses to pray “tomorrow”!!!

And that’s what got me stumped! Why wait till tomorrow???

The plague could have stopped immediately but instead, the plague would stop the next day!!

How many of us are like that though?

How many of us are tolerating today waiting to pray tomorrow??? (I am guilty of this!!)

Yeshua is waiting to move in your life today not tomorrow, next week, next month or next year.

He wants to move in your life today. He wants you to pray today, to put your faith in Him today!

You may think you need to wait for everything in your life to get right before you pray but that’s a lie.

The time is now!

The time to seek Him is now, not when you are perfect.

Pharaoh’s problem could have been solved straight away but he decided tomorrow would be the day.

Please get the heart of the message. Now is the time to get your breakthrough.

Yeshua is ready to move today and not tomorrow.

Don’t wait to ask, don’t wait to pray.

Your victory is not scheduled for some day in the future so be expectant today.

Expect YAH to move in your life today because today is the day!

Bless you friends….

What praise is…..

THOUGHT OF THE DAY

I got up this morning and did my daily reading of the word and a word jumped out at me. It’s a word that has blessed me so many times. But this morning, I was blessed by it even more. Here is what I read:

Hallelujah!

You who serve God, praise God!

Just to speak His name is praise!

Just to remember God is a blessing –

now and tomorrow and always.

From east to west, from dawn to dusk, keep lifting all your praises to God!

Psalm 113:1-3 (The Message)

Wow right!!!! This verse does something for me every time I read it.

We serve a really really really big God. He deserves all our praise and worship.

So…….if you serve God, praise God! He has done great things for you. (Oh, and that is not a suggestion, it’s a command. God commands us, not to make life hard for us but because He knows there is a blessing when we do it).

Just to speak His name is praise – what power He has!!! Where just to speak His name something happens!!!  Jesus!

Just to remember God is a blessing – now and tomorrow and always – Get rid of those things that hinder you from remembering Him daily. Not just daily but constantly through the day. IT IS A BLESSING TO REMEMBER GOD!

And lastly, lift up your praise from dawn to dusk! He has done great things and is doing great things. Doing that magnifies God in your life. He gets bigger the more you praise Him. This is your challenge and my challenge. Let us give Him the praises He deserves.  Amen

What happened when God said, Yes!!!

“They set out and went to Bethel to inquire of God. The people of Israel said, “Who of us shall be first to

go into battle with the Benjaminites? God said Judah goes first.”

The people of Israel marched out against Benjamin and took up their positions, ready to attack Gibeah.

But the Benjaminites poured out of Gibeah and devasted twenty-two Israelite divisions on the ground.

The Israelites went back to the sanctuary and wept before God until evening. They again inquired of God,

Shall we again go into battle against the Benjaminites, our brothers?

God said, Yes, Attack.

And they again inquired of God. The Chest of God’s Covenant was there at the time with Phineas son

of Eleazer, the son of Araron, as the ministering priest. They asked,

Shall we again march into battle against the Benjaminites, our brothers?

Or shall we call it quits?

And God said, Attack. Tomorrow I’ll give you the victory.

Judges 20: 18-28

This is a very interesting story. It is interesting because,

The Israelites were told to attack the Benjaminites and only after the third attempt were they successful!

THEY SOUGHT THE LORD for direction and it was The Lord who

told them to attack!!!! God told them to attack and they got defeated twice…… A lot of people were killed

during the first two attempts! Was there confusion, yes! But God told us to attack, must have been the thought

on people’s minds. Did we make a mistake hearing God’s voice, must have been another thought. But this is the

point, God had told them to attack!

I didn’t get it at first. How could that be? How could God tell them to do something only to fail? I asked

God to show me the lesson He wanted me to learn from this story. The lesson is this,

There may be things you are trusting God for. You may have even heard Him say yes, but that doesn’t

mean instant success. There will be times where you will doubt what God told you to do. But there is a reason.

God wants you to trust Him.

Just because God said “yes” doesn’t mean no problems and trials, and challenges, and questions. Keep on fighting,

Keep pressing on towards what God told you to do. You may be in a place where nothing seems to be working.

Maybe God wants you to keep at it. Don’t lose hope. He has not abandoned you.

You may have lost a lot as you followed what God told you to do and you are now regretting stepping out.

Your story is not over. There is a reason you are going through what you are going through.

He can be trusted…..

Praise Him…..How??

I was reading my bible yesterday when I came across the most amazing scripture. God has created us to praise Him and I am sure you all have read a book or have been taught how to. I am qute confident you have the understanding on how to. But what I want to do is just add to that knowledge you have and how I am going to do that is copy what I wrote in my journal yesterday when I read the scripture.I truly believe it’s a significant scripture.
Hallelujah!
You who serve God, praise God!
Just to speak His name is praise!
Just to remember God is a blessing –
now and tomorrow and always.
Psalm 113: 1-3 (Message)
We were created to praise God. (Isaiah 43:21)
“Just to speak His name is praise”
(When I read this scripture yesterday I realised the power of His name. Just to SPEAK His name is praise! Whatever situation you facing you merely have to speak His name! What a wonderful and powerful thought!!!! Just to speak His name is praise. If you are confused, just speak His name. It doesn’t take 2 seconds to do but is so powerful. Speak His name constantly)!
– I need to speak His name as often as I can……
“Just to remember God is a blessing – now and tomorrow and always.”
– Remember Him and what He has done as much as I can. It is a blessing to me and it is blessing Him!
That is what I wrote in my journal yesterday. Let us praise the Lord. To speak His name is praise and to remember God is a blessing not just now, but tomorrow and ALWAYS…wow!     Amen.
