The quickest way to ruin!!!

Thought of the Day.

He who guards his mouth keeps his life, but he who opens wide his lips comes to ruin. Proverbs 13:3

What situation are you in right now? Do you need a breakthrough? The answer to your situation is found in the scripture I have just shared. Your answer is in what comes out of your mouth. Do you want to have life? Then watch how you speak. There have been so many thoughts of doom running through my mind today. There are situations I need insight and help. And it is so tempting to speak a negative word. It is so easy to give up but the word is very clear. My deliverance is in my mouth. If I cave in to negative words I am finished. What is coming out of your mouth? Make sure you are guarding your mouth. Don’t destroy your life with your words. Think about what comes out of your mouth. Let the word of God flow out.

The Key to Keeping Your Life….

There is so much power in our words but do we believe that? We are so cavalier with our words at times but is that really scriptural? We think it’s OK to speak negative at times but is that what God wants from us? No it’s not! The wise man doesn’t just read the word, he applies it. He looks at various ways at how the word can be applicable and does it. What I am trying to get at is this, you have power in the words that you speak. I will be bold is saying that it is not okay to speak negative some of the time!!!  Its not scriptural!! The word is full of guidance on how we are to speak. There is a time to be firm, there is a time to shout, there is a time to be angry, there is a time to say whats on your mind but we are not called to speak negatively!! Things may be hard and difficult and it’s OK to acknowledge that but don’t stay there. The last word is what matters!! I can say that I am in a mess but I can’t stop there, I need to stop at the answer, God!! We are not called to be negative and our words have power. God wants us to be very careful about what comes out of our mouth.
Your breakthrough in any situation is linked to the words you speak!! What are you speaking??
Let us look at some scripture to back up what I was saying about God not wanting us to speak negatively.

From the fruit of his words a man shall be satisfied with good, and the work of a man’s hands shall come back to him [as a harvest].
Proverbs 12:14

A good man eats good from the fruit of his mouth, but the desire of the treacherous is for violence.
Proverbs13:2

He who guards his mouth keeps keeps his life, but he who opens  wide his lips comes to ruin.
Proverbs 13:3

You have the power of life and death in your mouth. You cannot afford to speak negatively. God does not want you to speak negatively. Will you listen to Him?
I like the last chapter I shared. He who guards his mouth guards his life!! He who doesn’t will come to ruin!!! Its that clear….
God is calling you to guard your life and it happens when you determine not to speak negatively!!! Bad things happen and it’s OK to acknowledge those things but don’t let them influence the way you speak!!
Watch your words, guard your life.

Life vs Ruin!

There is a fight we are all in. And this fight happens whether you know it or not. So I am here to show you what battle you in. We are always fighting for life. We fight for life because we don’t want to be ruined.
How is your life right now? Are you enjoying your life right now? Are amazing things happening for you?
Or are you in trouble? Does it seem like your life is in ruins?
There are a few reasons why it is so. I will show you one reason.

A good man eats good from the fruit of his mouth, but the desire of the treacherous is for violence.
He who guards his mouth keeps his life, but he who opens wide his lips comes to ruin.
Proverbs 13:2,3

The answer is in the way you speak. How do you speak to yourself about yourself, whats going on around you, about other people and so on? Do you watch what you say when you open your mouth or are you reckless? Are you more negative than positive in how you speak?
Your words have power whether you believe it or not. It is a biblical principle. God spoke and He created the entire universe and we are called His sons and daughters!!!???
We have that same creative power in our mouths. The reason the man eats good is because he knows how to speak. He speaks life into his life. Even though things seem gloomy he is still positve.

What if your situation is dire should you lie and say it is ok? No. I am not advocating that you lie about what you going through. What I am advocating is that you don’t end there. End with a positive. An example would be, “I am sick but God has healed me.”
“I may be poor right now but God is prospering me so I can be a blessing.”

Your words have power. The person who speaks rashly and without care will come to ruin. He who is careful in how he speaks keeps his life.
You determine what your life will be like with your words.
Do you want to live? Are you going to win the war and not be ruined?
That is something to think about.
