What is my food?

“Meanwhile His disciples urged Him, “Rabbi, eat something.”

But He said to them, “I have food to eat that you know nothing

about.”

John 4:31, 32

Jesus knew why He was on earth. He knew His purpose and that dictated what He did.

Thinking about it more, Jesus could have told the crowd to wait while He ate something

but His “food” was more important than eating at that moment. He understood His “food”

had eternal consequences and would change people’s lives forever.

There are so many times in my life when I have put making a living and surviving before

my “food” but the truth of the matter is that God has given us a purpose and a mission on

this earth. He has promised to provide for our needs but how hard it is to balance the two!

Do you know what your “food” is?

If you don’t, ask the Lord to show you. Ask Him to reveal to you what your purpose is.

He is not trying to hide it from you but He wants you to discover the amazing things He has

in store.

The world we live in is getting crazier and crazier and people need the truth. The “food” we have

been given will bring light into a world that desperately needs it.

So what is your “food”?

Bless you friends

Fixing my priorities.

On the road of purpose getting your priorities in the right order is critical.

I struggle with this at times. When I am supposed to be writing or doing something that feeds into my purpose I get distracted with something totally random.

But if I am going to accomplish the things God has for me I need to get my priorities in the right order.

How are your priorities looking?

When Nehemiah was busy at the wall his enemies tried to distract him. But Nehemiah knew what God called him to do and because he knew, his priorities were in the right order.

“So Sanballat and Geshem sent a message asking me to meet them at one of the villages in the plain of Ono. But I realized they were plotting to harm me, so I replied by sending this message to them: “I am engaged in a great work, so I can’t come. Why should I stop working to come and meet with you?” Four times they sent the same message, and each time I gave the same reply.”

‭‭Nehemiah‬ ‭6:2-4‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Nehemiah was not going to get distracted. His focus was laser sharp.

It’s time to realign our priorities. It easier to arrange them when we know what our purpose is.

If you don’t know what God’s purpose for your life is, I pray God will reveal it to you. He wants you to know the amazing plans and purposes He has for you. He is not hiding it from you. So get your priorities right today.

Bless you friends
