He changed His environment…..

The Lord wants to do some incredible things in you and through you and because of that you need

to pay attention to what you are exposing yourself to consistently. You need to take a long hard look at the

people you call your friends and ask yourself if they are encouraging you in your faith or are killing

your faith. You need to take a long hard look at all that you digest (social media, music, media) and ask

yourself if it’s strengthening your faith or killing it.

How is it at home? Have you created an environment for Yeshua to speak to you easily or are there

just too many distractions? (I am dealing with this right now)

All this matters. Like I said in the beginning, the Lord has incredible things in store for you.

Let’s look at a story in the bible that will bring home what I am talking about.

In Mark chapter 5 a man named Jairus meets Yeshua. His daughter is near death and has come to

the Him for help. The Lord agrees to go with Jairus and we pick up the story when Yeshua

arrives at the house.

“And when He had gone in, He said to them, Why do you make an uproar and weep? The little

girl is not dead but is sleeping.

And they laughed and jeered at Him. But He put them all out, and taking the child’s father and mother

and those who were with Him, He went in where the little girl was lying.”

Mark 5:39, 40

The Lord was about to perform a miracle but in order to do that He had to put out the people

who were laughing and jeering at Him. He had to change the environment. It would be impossible for

Him to do what needed to be done if the people stayed.

And that is why the parents stayed. They may have had their doubts but their little faith was enough.

All the Lord needs is a little faith. But doubt, and fear are a different story.

In the very next chapter we look at how the Lord could not do any miracles except heal a few people here

and there because the majority of people didn’t trust Him, doubted Him.

“But Jesus said to them, A prophet is not without honor (deference, reverence) except in his [own]

country and among [his] relatives and in his [own] house.

And He was not able to do even one work of power there, except that He laid His hands on a few

sickly people [and] cured them.”

Mark 6:4,5 (emphasis mine)

If there is no faith it makes it hard for the Lord to move, very hard!

But to my main point, the Lord had to change His environment by putting out the negative crowd.

If the Lord did that how much more do we need to? We need to take a long hard look at every aspect

that makes up our environment that I mentioned earlier and start making some decisions.

If we are to walk in all the amazing things the Lord has for us we need to cut off the things that

are weighing us down, the things that keep us in fear, the things that make us doubt YAH, the things

that contradict the word the Lord gave us about your lives. When I talk about things I am also talking

about people. We have some really toxic relationships and think it’s okay but it’s not. Those toxic

relationships are doing you major harm.

We need to ask for the Lord’s help and wisdom. This can only be done successfully with Him.

On that final thought enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Bless you friends

Expect Him to move in your life today……..Part 2

I wasn’t planning to do this but after I wrote the first part I realized

I had to go deeper. I want to break this topic down and talk about

the process, how do we

“Expect YAH to move in our lives today?”

I am going to introduce three things that could help you.

  1. Bring your past to Him

You may have had a difficult past but you can let go. You don’t

have to let it dictate what your future will be like.

Bring your past to the Lord. He doesn’t want you holding on to

it any longer. Your future is brighter and full of hope.

I used to hold on to the past so tight that it became a part of me.

I used to wear it like a badge everywhere I went. And even though

what happened to me was serious, YAH wanted me to release it

to Him so He could show me a future He had planned for me.

Friends, don’t let your past ruin what YAH has for you now…

“Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old.

Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not

perceive it.”

Isaiah 43:18

2. Change the words you are speaking

“And behold, a woman who had suffered from a flow of blood for

twelve years came up behind Him and touched the fringe of His

garment;

for she kept saying to herself, if I only touch His garment,  I shall

be restored to health. ”

Matthew 9:20, 21

The woman kept speaking what she was believing for. There is

power in the words we speak. What comes out of your mouth

has an impact on your life. Speak life, speak what you believing

for and don’t fall into the trap of speaking negatively.

“A good man eats good from the fruit of his mouth, but the desire of

the treacherous is for violence.

He who guards his mouth keeps his life, but he who opens wide

his lips comes to ruin.”

Proverbs 13:2, 3

3. Spend more time with YAH

I put this as the last thing because I find it so hard. I am constantly

fighting distractions left, right and center. And the crazy thing is, I

created most of the distractions!! That’s so messed up!

We need to spend more time in His word, more time speaking to

Him and listening to Him.

I will leave you with those three things to ponder on.

I hope those points will help you on your journey.

The Lord wants to move in your life for sure. Be expectant.

Bless you friends…..

Are you living with an expectancy that God is going to move in your life?? You should!

“Let Your mercy and loving-kindness, O Lord, be upon us

in proportion to our waiting and hoping for You.”

Psalm 33:22

This verse seems so unassuming, so simple, but it there is a very profound truth in it!

Let’s talk about it,

Is your faith in God unrestrained  or is it subdued, reigned in?

Are you trusting God for the impossible or is there a “child-lock”

on your faith?

Because this verse is making a link between the intensity of your

faith and what you receive.

If your faith is small then that is what you will get and

vice-versa!

God’s mercy and loving-kindness will be upon us according to

the proportion of our waiting and hoping in Him!

How much are you waiting on Him?

How much are you depending on God for?

Maybe things are not happening in our lives because we are not

expecting much?

Maybe we are playing it safe to protect ourselves from getting

disappointed. I know what that feels like.

When everything is said and done, God will not let us down!

He will not disappoint us.

God wants us to dream and trust big for our lives, our family,

and the world!

It’s time we break the box we have put Him in.

It’s time we stop walking around with our “tame faith”.

I can’t tell you how challenged I am by this word.

I have been praying too small.

I have put God in a box.

My lack of desire and small

expectations don’t help much.

Today’s word is for us to trust Him

more and hope in Him more.

We will never get to a place of

“trusting and hoping too much”.

Break off the limitations you have

placed on your faith and hope.

If you have been hoping in God for a

long time keep hoping

and increase your hope in Him. Don’t

shrink back. He will not let you down.

His mercy and loving-kindness will

be given to us in proportion

to our waiting and hoping in Him!

Bless you friends.
