Bring Him your “impossible”.

“Then one of them said, “I will return to you about this time next year, and your wife, Sarah, will have a son!” Sarah was listening to this conversation from the tent. Abraham and Sarah were both very old by this time, and Sarah was long past the age of having children.

So she laughed silently to herself and said, “How could a worn-out woman like me enjoy such pleasure, especially when my master—my husband—is also so old?” Then the Lord said to Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh? Why did she say, ‘Can an old woman like me have a baby?’ Is anything too hard for the Lord? I will return about this time next year, and Sarah will have a son.””

‭‭Genesis‬ ‭18:10-14‬ ‭NLT‬‬

“Is anything too hard for the Lord?”

Abraham and Sarah were faced with an impossible situation but that didn’t stop the Lord. What seemed impossible was actually very easy for the Him.

As I look at the dreams in my heart and some of the things I am trusting God for, they do seem impossible but after reading that story again I was reminded the things that seem impossible to me are actually very easy for the Lord and that is why He asked the question,

Is anything too hard for the Lord?

There is nothing too hard for the Lord. Your “impossible” is actually very easy for Him. So don’t let go of that dream, desire or prayer because it’s fulfillment seems impossible. Look to the Lord. Bring Him your “impossible” and watch Him work.

Amen!

Don’t remain silent in times of trouble, praise God!

“This is what they sang: “Give thanks to the Lord; his faithful love endures forever!” At the very moment they began to sing and give praise, the Lord caused the armies of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir to start fighting among themselves.

‭‭2 Chronicles‬ ‭20:21-23‬ ‭NLT‬‬

As Jehoshaphat waited on the Lord, he praised Him and as he praised Him the Lord defeated the enemy.

In your waiting, praise the Lord. The Lord will bring deliverance to you. Lift your hands and voices and declare the goodness of the Lord as you wait. Declare the great things He is doing and is about to do. He hasn’t forgotten about you.

What the Lord told Jehoshaphat remains true for you and me,

“He said, “Listen, all you people of Judah and Jerusalem! Listen, King Jehoshaphat! This is what the Lord says: Do not be afraid! Don’t be discouraged by this mighty army, for the battle is not yours, but God’s.”

‭‭2 Chronicles‬ ‭20:15‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Stop overthinking.

“This is why I tell you to never be worried about your life, for all that you need will be provided, such as food, water, clothing—everything your body needs. Isn’t there more to your life than a meal? Isn’t your body more than clothing?”

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6:25‬ ‭TPT‬‬

It’s so easy to overthink things these days.

I was going over some of my journal entries that I wrote a few months back and one particular entry stood out. I had been overthinking a few things which got me in a state of panic and worry.

But as I reviewed the things I was overthinking I realized the Lord had answered each problem I wrote down. I ticked each problem off as solved and that was a aha moment for me. There is no need to overthink things. The Lord cares about the things you face and He wants to help you. Instead of overthinking, and getting stressed and fearful, bring Him your problems. Like I said in the beginning, it’s easy to overthink things these days but we have help. We don’t need to face our problems alone. The Lord is with us.

Bless you friends

The same favor.

“Then she instructed him to say to Mordecai, “All the king’s officials and the people of the royal provinces know that for any man or woman who approaches the king in the inner court without being summoned the king has but one law: that they be put to death unless the king extends the gold scepter to them and spares their lives. But thirty days have passed since I was called to go to the king.””

‭‭Esther‬ ‭4:10-11‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Because we are sons and daughters of God we have favor but what does that mean?

Haman, the king’s top man set a plan in motion to destroy all the Jews so Mordecai challenged Esther to step up and do something to save them but there was one problem, she had to be summoned by the king. She couldn’t just approach him when she felt like. The penalty was death but after fasting and praying she went before the king and this is where we see the favor of God in action;

“When he saw Queen Esther standing in the court, he was pleased with her and held out to her the gold scepter that was in his hand. So Esther approached and touched the tip of the scepter.”

‭‭Esther‬ ‭5:2‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Because of God’s favor, Esther’s life was spared and the Jews were saved even though king Xerxes was one of the most wicked kings living at that time.

We have that same favor. There are so many other stories in the word that support that truth.

Nehemiah experienced God’s favor before his king as well as Ezra.

Mephilboseth experienced favor like never before.

And why is this important to know?

So we can trust God for breakthrough and deliverance in the most difficult of situations. No matter how tightly shut a door is, if God wants it opened, it will open.

No matter how many giants are standing in the way opposing you, God’s favor will make a way for you.

Favor will take on different shapes and sizes for each person but the fact is,

God’s favor is on you in this season.

It doesn’t stop just because the world has got darker. It just keeps getting brighter and brighter and that’s great news!

Bless you friends
